Jason was born and raised in the Flemington area, his obituary says. He worked as a painter for RW Coleman Painting with his father.

Jason was known for his many passions, many involving the outdoors, such as boating, fishing, crabbing, and golfing. He was also a “dedicated Ravens fan,” his memorial says.

But above all, Jason loved spending time with his incredible friends and family.

Jason is predeceased by his loving brother, Ryan, and his grandparents, Edward and Annare Heil, and Gordon and Eleanor Getz.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Roger W. and Mary E. (Getz) Coleman, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones.

Jason’s memorial will be held at Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse on Monday, April 3.

"He was a wonderful presence in our home and was always so polite and respectful," reads one of several tributes on Jason's obituary. "He was such a loving friend to his buddies and it showed in their interactions and his willingness to always lend a helping hand...we wish his beautiful soul peace."
